Lovran Wind Orchestra - maybe better known (and admired) among people in the region as Lovranska limena glazba, is nearing its 100th year of existence. It was founded in 1912. Since this site is about impressions, and usually first impressions, one ting that impresses about Lovran Wind Orchestra, beside quality and versatility of their music, is the harmony, respect and fun among its members. They are men and women of ages between 12 and 8o something and, of course, from all walks of life: students, teachers, laborers, engineers, professionals, business owners, and so on. The hard work, discipline and professionalism is appropriately matched by fun and socializing off stage.
